In this book, it talks about how the United States and Britain got together and decided on defeating Germany before turning to Japan. Also talks about how the British soldiers practiced getting over barbed wire defenses that it made them more experienced at amphibious landings than they were earlier in the war. And the German soldiers were held captive in 1944 June 6.
