privacy
1. My right is the right to privacy.
2. The 14th amendment to Louis Brandeis is "the right to be left alone." We have the privacy of beliefs, privacy of the home against demands that it be used to house soldiers, privacy of the person and possessions as against unreasonable searches, and the privilege against self-incrimination that provides protection for the privacy of personal information.
3. the 10th amendment grants authority to an individual for any power not delegated to the United States Congress or prohibited explicitly in the Constitution of the United States. The reason why we don't have the right of privacy from the Government is because of all the terrorism that is going on.
4. These limitations exist because of all the terrorism that has happened to America. The U.S. is listening into our conversations and what we do on the internet because they are worried what we would do to harm our country.
5. If I had to give up the right of privacy, then i would like to have more security and help from the Government. The Government doesn't even support us if something happened to us like if a hurricane hit or tsunami hit the Government takes note of it but barely does anything about it. I believe the U.S. cares only about the money it has and chooses to use the least amount of money possible.
6. My right exists because our country needs the right of privacy and not having everyone into your own business. The right of privacy should be given to us with the actual right to have privacy but because of terrorism we don't have the complete right of privacy.

By: Stefan Anitei
- Credential- Science editor of Softpedia
- This source is very credible because it was written by a science editor.
- The source talks about how every day up to 150 species are lost and every year between 18,000 and 55,000 species become extinct. The cause: human activities.
- Yes I believe this source
because it has been written by a science editor and has quotes from the U.N. generals and the head of biological diversity.

By: Brian Handwerk
- Credential- National Geograpic News
- this is a credible source because it comes from a nation wide source (national geograpic)
- This source talks about how Global Warming could cause mass extinction by 2050.
- I belive this source
Because this source may not have professinol people with perfect facts but its by national geographic and i'm sure they don't just make things up.

- I would say this is a credible source because this is in a newspaper. If this were a bad credible source then it would be giving us false information.
- This talks about how global warming ties to extinction. It is being called "the great dying" because 90% of ocean speices and 70% of land speices are in the biggest mass extinction.
- I don't believe this source because all the information is not real given facts. These facts could happen sooner or even later than 2050.

By: Science Daily
- Credential- Research News
- This source is not credible because there was no author so there is not credentials.
- The source talks about how each year it's getting warmer, how 2007 is on the pae to become one of the 10 warmest years for the contiguous U.S. It all started in the Industrial Revolution.
- No I do not believe this source
because there is no author so I do not know how reliable this source is.

- Credential- UK Met Office and the University of East Anglia. Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia . Fred Singer from the Science & Environmental Policy Project in Washington
- This source is credible because these are authors who all have degrees in their feld.
- The source talks about how this year has been the warmest on record in the northern hemisphere. 2005 was the warmest year on record behind 1998. But Fred Singer says that just because it is warm it does not prove that we are going through global warming.
-I do believe this source because the people who were interviewed all have degrees and so their information should be accurate.

- Credential- Western Kentucky University and Suffolk University. Public Affairs Officer / (and a Meteorologist) at NASA. Public Affairs Specialist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
- This source is credible because he is a graduate and has degrees which means that he is knowledgable about what he is writing.
- The source talks about how 2005 was the warmest year since the late 1800s, according to NASA scientists. 1998, 2002 and 2003 and 2004 followed as the next four warmest years. The result indicates that a strong underlying warming trend is continuing.
-I do believe this source because this author works for NASA which means he knows what he is writing about.
I believe that this fact is true because in each source I have found it has this information even though 2 of my sources are not reliable I still think that it is correct.

- This source talks about how if the CO2 levels keep rising it will impact the coral reef.
- I believe this because the man made problem is us putting more CO2 into the atmosphere and the main reason why the coral reef is in danger is because of our mistakes and harming the world with the rising of CO2 levels.

by: Martini1992
- credentials- socyberty
- this source is decently credible because it is somewhat like a blog and i can't be 100% sure that this information is correct.
- This source talks about two different reasons for global warming such as the CO2 levels rising and smoke that makes the sunlight bounce off and makes the global cooler.
- I believe what the person is saying because of all the global warming our climate even in St.Louis has been going everywhere.

- This source is not very credible because we don't know who this person is but this source has good information.
- This source talks about how there is a possibility that what humans and green house gases are not the things effecting our planet. That even global warming could be wrong. In this site it talks about how the sun goes through a sunspot cycle. This cycle has a 11 year period in which after those 11 years it is the hottest spot.
- I can't say that I believe or not believe because i don't know anything that is going on with the sun right now. But, I believe that we are putting the toxic wastes and gases into our atmosphere to put our planet in danger.

Middle-east conflict questions
1. Egypt got involved in the Arab-Israeli conflict by fighting along with Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Jordan against Israel.
2. 1948 the Egypt and the other Arab countries fought against Israel in four different wars. In 1956 Israel, France and Britain went to war against Egypt. Egypt nationalized the Suez Canal and closed it to Israeli and Western European trade. During the war, Israel captured the Sinai desert, but eventually gave it back in response to U.S. pressure and returned the territory it had gained to Egypt. Israel captured territories which had served as staging areas for rocket or terrorist attacks on Israeli civilian populations: the Sinai and the Gaza Strip from Egypt, the Golan Heights from Syria and the West Bank from Jordan including East Jerusalem. In 1973, on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish year, Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Jordan attacked Israel. After initial Arab military successes, the Israelis managed to push back the attack. The U.S. convinced Israel to withdraw from the territories it had taken.
3. The enemy was Israel because Israel brought the Jewish religion into an area filled with Muslims and the Arabs did not like what Israel did.
4. Egypt's friends in the Middle-east were Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon.
5. Egypt wanted independence and peace.
6. Egypt is not willing to give up the Gaza Strip and the Sinai
7. Egypt would not give up the Sinai but had to give up part of the Sinai for the peace treaty. In the peace treaty it limited the number of Egyptian military forces on the peninsula.

reflection post questions
1. What I learned from this project was that the experience the soldiers went through was insane. I also learned from an older man that saw my project and told me that more soldiers died in the water than on land.
2. My research question was "what was the soldiers experience during the Normandy beach invasion?"
3. The answer to my research question is that the soldiers drowned before even getting on land, got shot at by heavy artillery, and the U.S. had a disadvantage in the beginning of the war trying to go up the hill.
4. Yes. My final product answered this question.
5. The final product answered the question because on the model it showed what the soldiers went through, trying to go up the hill with heavy luggage, trying to get off the boats and onto safety, and soldiers with limbs cut off because of the heavy artillery.
6. On the project I would say I did well on making the project look like the actual war.
7. I could have improved the timing on the project. I would like to improve when to start everything. Our timing was so bad we had to finish our project in one night.
8. I would of change how we made the hill out of clay. The way we made the hill was too heavy and hard to carry from point A to point B, so if i could have changed something I did on the project it would be to make the hill higher and lighter.
9. There is nothing that I would change about the assignment because it is a very good assignment but, the way we used our time was our problem.
10. I think we deserve at least a B because for a last minute product it came out fairly well but because we slacked off our plan wasn't as good as it should have been and our final product could have been better if we had a little more time.
